| The following price increases have been announced at Australian ports, coming into effect from 1 July 2016:Geelong – Channel Access Charges The Victorian Regional Channels Authority advise that the new base charge will be $0.43c/GRT (compared to previous rate being $0.38c/GRT). This represents an increase of approximately 13%. Portland Hay Point & Abbot Point – Harbour and tonnage dues Mackay Harbour Newcastle News of other cost increases coming into effect is expected and will be advised when available. | Traffic to halt for yacht races |

| Public holiday for Democracy Day |

| The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday (30 May) a public holiday to mark this year’s Democracy Day celebration.The country’s ports & terminals will operate partially, as will Government agencies categorised as essential services (Customs, immigration, etc.).
