| Establishment of silt curtains to the East of the Hong Kong International Airport |

| With immediate effect and for a period of approximately 4 months, silt curtains will be established along a line joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C):(A) 22º 18.958’ N / 113º 56.619’ E(B) 22º 18.939’ N / 113º 56.673’ E
(C) 22º 19.045’ N / 113º 56.766’ E The silt curtains will extend vertically from the sea surface to the seabed. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid along the surface of the silt curtains to mark the extent of the silt curtains. Diving operations will be carried out from a work boat from time to time during the laying, inspection and maintenance operations. The vessel engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations. Vessels navigating in the vicinity are advised to proceed with caution and keep clear of the silt curtains at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working around the silt curtains. | With immediate effect and for a period of approximately two months, marine site investigation works involving drilling of boreholes will be carried out in the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:(A) 22° 15.853’N / 114° 03.040’E(B) 22° 15.969’N / 114° 03.011’E
(C) 22° 15.981’N / 114° 03.067’E (D) 22° 15.845’N / 114° 03.090’E The works will be carried out by one jack-up platform. One tugboat and one work boat will provide assistance. A working area of approximately 25 metres around the jack-up platform will be established. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of the jack-up platform to indicate its position. The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1800 hours from Monday to Saturday. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work. Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
