Councils across the UK will be flying a Red Ensign on Merchant Navy Day
The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Lindsey Hall, is supporting Seafarers UK’s ‘Fly the Red Ensign for Merchant Navy Day’ campaign.
Westminster is one of more than 600 councils and local authorities across the UK that will be hoisting a Red Ensign on 3 September, to help raise awareness of our island nation’s ongoing dependence on Merchant Navy seafarers.
