PIRACY & ARMED ROBBERY: BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TO DETER PIRACY AND ENHANCE MARITIME SECURITY OFF THE COAST OF WEST AFRICA INCLUDING THE GULF OF GUINEA
A Joint Industry Group including the International Group of P&I Clubs has recently released Best Management Practices to Deter Piracy and Enhance Maritime Security Off of the Coast of West Africa Including Gulf of Guinea.
In view of this new guidance, the American Club has also updated its guidance on Piracy and Armed Robbery: Frequently Asked Questions FAQs and Use of Armed Guards and your P&I Club. All guidance related to piracy and armed robbery can be found at the Club’s website at:
