Paris, 12 April 2022 – sennder, Europe’s leading digital freight forwarder, announces the appointment of Ekaterini Kranioti as Vice President – Shipper Sales. Ekaterini, sennder’s latest senior hire based in France, will aid the company’s efforts to support shippers on their path to digitization.
As a digital freight forwarder, sennder helps connect shippers with a connected fleet of thousands of trucks. Ekaterini will oversee sennder’s entire shipper operations, driving industry digitalization by growing the platform and providing enhanced services to existing customers.
Ekaterini will work closely with sennder’s Carrier teams to segment customers and provide them with an increasingly personalized offering tailored to their needs. This is an important step for sennder as a growing business, with 8 offices working in all European markets, and to ensure the best service according to each market’s individual needs.
Ekaterini brings over 30 years of experience to the business, most recently working as the EUROMED Sales Director at GEFCO where she oversaw a team of 120, managing the company’s industry, automotive and consumer goods sales across Western and Southern Europe. Before her 20 years at GEFCO, Ekaterini held roles at Kuehne & Nagel, Nestlé, Martin Brower France and Air France.
