A highly successful working lunch was held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Athenian Club, organized by the Hellenic National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Hellas), with the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Niki Kerameus, as the guest of honor.
The event, titled “The New Landscape of the Labour Market,” brought together members of ICC Hellas, representatives of Chambers, businesses, and professionals, reflecting the strong interest of the business community in current labor market developments.
The Minister was welcomed and introduced by the President of ICC Hellas, Petros G. Doukas, who also announced the decision of the Board of Directors to appoint her as Honorary President of the dynamic and forward-looking ICC Hellas Women sector. In this context, special recognition was given to the contribution of its former leaders, Marina Yavroglou, Anna Kamaridi, and Penny Zaglaridou, for their significant role in its development.

In her new honorary role, the Minister will collaborate closely with Katerina Tsourtsoula and Eleni Giannopoulou, who serve both as Board Members and Heads of ICC Hellas Women. This collaboration is expected to further strengthen initiatives aimed at empowering women in business, enhancing inclusive growth, and promoting equal opportunities across sectors. Through joint actions and dialogue, the ICC Hellas Women platform will continue to expand its impact, fostering meaningful connections and supporting women’s participation in the evolving economic landscape.

During her address, the Minister presented the key initiatives and priorities of the Ministry of Labour, outlining the reforms shaping the evolving labour market framework. She also engaged in a constructive dialogue, responding to insightful questions and carefully noting the remarks and perspectives shared by business leaders and participants.

The event highlighted the importance of open and meaningful dialogue between the public sector and the business community, reaffirming that such initiatives contribute substantially to the development of a modern, competitive, and sustainable labour environment in Greece.
