Oversea has signed a commercial agreement with Terntank to deliver Fleet Support Center services covering nine vessels including the latest Hybrid-Plus series with two more newbuilding’s coming next year. Two of the vessels are also equipped with wind-assisted propulsion, reflecting Terntank’s continued focus on innovative and energy-efficient shipping solutions.

The service aims to strengthen vessel performance across Terntank’s fleet through digital-enabled optimisation and maritime expert support. Through the Fleet Support Center services, vessel performance is continuously monitored and analysed to identify improvement opportunities. Acting as an extension of Terntanks organisation, Oversea provides additional capabilities and expertise to help translate insights into concrete actions and measurable results. The collaboration delivers clear recommendations for both onboard crews and shore teams, combined with structured follow-ups to ensure continuous improvement.

“The agreement with Oversea is a natural next step following a trial period that clearly demonstrated the value of their Fleet Support Center services. Our vessels are technically sophisticated with a lot of data available, but we have limited time to collect and analyse the data we receive from the vessels. In a sense, Oversea will act as our performance division, providing support and monthly updates on hull & propeller, main engine, auxiliaries and CII”, says Claes Möller, CEO at Terntank.

“We are very pleased to have moved from a successful trial into a commercial agreement, and grateful for the continued trust and expanded collaboration. As Oversea’s first engagement within the tanker segment, it is especially rewarding to see how we can deliver clear value and tangible results through close collaboration between the client teams and Oversea Fleet Support Center,” says Jesper Lögdström, CEO of Oversea.

The agreement includes decision-support for Hull & propeller, Main engine (efficiency and condition monitoring), Auxiliaries and electrical power production and Carbon Intensity Indicator, including forecasts and improvement potential.
