    R.I.P. Edmond Pastor (1936–2026)
Entrepreneur and prominent Monegasque figure Edmond Pastor has died at the age of 89. A descendant of Jean-Baptiste Pastor, he played a key role in major developments including the construction of the Sporting d’Été complex and the Boulingrins car park, and founded the maritime engineering company Trasomar. Passionate about Japan, he also served as Monaco’s Honorary Consul General to the country, strengthening ties between the Principality and Japan.
