Monaco’s Caroline Media Library is keeping culture alive throughout the summer with a programme of workshops, reading sessions, relaxation spaces and free film screenings for visitors of all ages. Thursday afternoons have been dedicated to cinema, alternating between family favourites, recent French releases, English-language films and less familiar productions that audiences might not otherwise have an opportunity to discover. Among this summer’s screenings is the animated film Frida, which introduces younger viewers to the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo through a child’s perspective. The free programme aims to make the library a welcoming summer meeting place while using cinema to encourage curiosity about art, culture and new ideas.
