Diana Containerships Chairman and CEO Simon Palios stressed the fact that the company succeeded in putting the money of June’s 2011 public offering to work with the acquisition of sound second hand ships from reputable liner operators feeling confident for rewarding its shareholders with robust dividend distributions. Today, the company has nine containerships and intends to proceed with the purchase of second hand ones or even newbuilding resales or enter into newbuilding contracts. Watch this space!
