From 1 January 2013 Turkish Customs will require an original invoice declaration for clearance of spares in transit arriving for vessels in port
or straits.

You are therefore urged to always send original invoices together with the AWB copies and packing list, to facilitate timely clearance and delivery of spares to vessels timely. Original invoices must have invoice number, date and wet stamp/signature (not copy or digital signature), otherwise they will not be validity during customs declaration, resulting in customs clearance failure.
