Temporary removal of navigation buoys

From on or around 0800 on Monday 12 August and until further notice, the following navigational buoy will be removed to facilitate dredging operations within the turning basin area: Buoy No. 9

Furthermore the navigational buoy KB1 will be moved approximately 50 metres to the SW though will still mark the starboard side of the dredged channel towards Kwanda Basin.

All vessels are requested to navigate with caution and proceed at slow speed when transiting this area or in the vicinity of the dredger ‘TSHD Reynaert’ whilst engaged in dredging operations.

Up to date information on operations will be available through Soyo Port Control on VHF Channel 11.
