Safety Notice – Sunken Rig Accompanied Visits
Please note that with effect from on 0800 on Wednesday 21st August and
until further notice, all persons wishing to visit the area of the sunken
rig Perro Negro 6 in position Latitude 06° 03.88’ S Longitude 012° 11.82’ E
shall be accompanied by an Official of the Captaincy.

Reduced visibility reported in the Singapore Strait & Port waters
Due to the presence of haze, the visibility in the Singapore Strait and
port waters could be significantly reduced.
2 During periods of restricted visibility, shipmasters are advised to keep
a proper lookout and navigate with caution. They are also advised to comply
with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea and in
particular Rule No. 19, Rule No. 20 and Rule No. 35 concerning conduct of
vessels in restricted visibility, exhibition of navigation lights and sound
signals in restricted visibility, respectively.
