Postponement of scheduled lane outages
Due to the current number of vessels awaiting transit and in light of the
negative impact that a lane outage may have on the level of service
provided by the Panama Canal Authority, the lane outages at Gatun and Pedro
Miguel locks scheduled for November 14, November 25 and November 28, 2013,
will be postponed until further notice.
The new dates for these outages will be announced once the vessel backlog
returns to normal levels.
