Mr Jeffrey G Lantz presents the new Guide

The 30-year-long relationship built on mutual respect between HELMEPA and the US Coast Guard was once again affirmed by Mr Lantz, when he presented the Association’s new publication, “HELMEPA’s Guide on US Coast Guard Port State Control Examinations”, to the participants at the conclusion of his presentation. The publication in English, is a product of a joint HELMEPA and USCG decision taken in May 2013, is addressed by Admiral J.A. Servidio and provides comprehensive guidelines to comply with Port State Control as it is executed by the USCG on foreign vessels. “This effective all-inclusive publication will undoubtedly prove to be an invaluable tool on board HELMEPA member-vessels sailing in US waters”, Mr Lantz stated.

Copies of this Guide will shortly be disseminated throughout HELMEPA’s membership and the Association looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the US Coast Guard into the next 30 years!
