Further to the NEWS RELEASES issued on 24 January and 23 May 2014, the Acting
Chairman of the IMSO Assembly has today notified all IMSO Member States that the
nomination for the post of IMSO Director General of Dr Youngsun Park of the Republic of
Korea has been formally withdrawn.
The nominations for the post of IMSO Director General, in alphabetic order, are as
follows:
Captain Moin AHMED, nominated by the Party of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh
Rear Admiral Cristiano ALIPERTA, nominated by the Party of Italy
Mr Eric BERDER, nominated by the Party of France
Captain Marin CHINTOAN-UTA, nominated by the Party of Romania
Captain Hartmut Guenther HESSE, nominated by the Party of Germany
The new Director General will be appointed by the Assembly at its Twenty-Third Session
to be held in London from 25 to 28 November 2014
