Draft reduced due to monsoon & siltation
July 12, 2014, India, New Mangalore

Due to monsoon condition and continuous siltation in the approach channel, the maximum permissible draft in the approach channel [at New Mangalore Port] is reduced to 13.50m with 1m height of tide with immediate effect.

Vessel entry entry/departure restricted
July 12, 2014, Argentina, Necochea

The Argentinean Coast Guard has restricted entry/departure of vessels with LOA over than 80m at the Port of Necochea, due to an extraordinary downstream current of the Quequen River of 4 knots and winds exceeding 25 km per hour.
