Leading ship supplier Hutton’s Group is pleased to announce it is to be the UK and Ireland/Éire distributor of Norwegian marine clothing range Ki elements.

Ki elements provides reliable weatherproof clothing with built-in safety features which enable mariners to stay safe but move about freely onboard.

Tested and certified to international standards, the strong but lightweight Ki elements range offers unrestricted freedom of movement, is wind and water proof, anti-static, breathable and produced with great attention to detail.

Seafarers have the peace of mind of knowing that the clothing incorporates the protection they need, including lifejacket, safety line or full body harness. In addition, the Ki elements clothing has ergonomic integration meaning strains on the back and neck are reduced.

Hutton’s Group is particularly pleased to make available the cost-effective Ki-Suit, a purpose-built survival suit which gives the wearer up to one hour protection if immersed. This fully functioning suit is waterproof, breathable and incorporates a built-in lifejacket, deck safety harness and high visibility to ensure it is fully compliant with SOLAS and other international standards.

Alex Taylor, Hutton’s Group Managing Director, said: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with Ki elements to provide this pioneering range of safety clothing for our customers.”

Hutton’s Group will stock a range of Ki body suits, jackets and waistcoats available through its Hutton’s Renewables division based in Great Yarmouth.
