From 11 January to 12 February, autonomous system experiments will be conducted off Pulau Serangoon, Pulau Punggol Timor, Pulau Seletar and their vicinity.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.01 of 2016 dated 4 January 2016, the works will be conducted between 0800 and 1800 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working areas bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS Datum 84):
WORKING AREA 1 WORKING AREA 2 WORKING AREA 3 WORKING AREA 4 The experiments and collection of data will be carried out by deploying autonomous unmanned vehicles in the working areas. The autonomous unmanned vehicles will be launched from the work boat during the experiments. Operation and monitoring of these vehicles’ movement will be carried out from the workboats. Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
