Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” for Spain, was visited by the General Director and the Technical Director of the Autonomous Port of Nouadhibou (Mauritania)
The General Director of the Mauritanian port, Mr. Ahmedou Ould Hademine Ould Jelvoune, recently appointed to this position, and the Technical Director, Mr. Alioune Matalla, expressed their disposition to join as partners to the territorial cooperation project GLOBALPORT lead by Ports of Tenerife and with the priority target of improving the competitiveness of macaronesian ports area and their businesses.
During the visit, representatives of the Port of Nouadhibou were accompanied by Elisa Zamora, of the Strategic Planning Dept. of the Port Authority of Tenerife.
