OUR RGYEP FINAL IS ONE MONTH AWAY.
JOIN OUR FINALISTS AS THEY PITCH THEIR IDEAS TO WIN TOP PRIZES, PLUS HEAR FROM OUR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPEAKER24th March| 18:00 – 22:00 | London Business School
The finalists of our Young Entrepreneurs’ Programme met their 1:1 mentors on 11th Feburary, they had their first business modelling workshop, and have started an intense process of acceleration to prepare them for their final assessment: The Big Pitch. The atmosphere in the room was electric, and the entrepreneurs were excited to get started. We had a full house and two amazing inspirational speakers, who helped set the tone.
On 24th March, our finalists will be pitching their ideas to our panel of judges in order to win one of 4 awards; the Innovation Award, the Young Leader Award, The Social Impact Award (sponsored by TITAN), and the Rising Star Award, as well as top prizes. Come along to hear their pitches, provide interactive feedback, network with the entrepreneurs, their mentors, and our judges, and hear from our entrepreneurial speaker, George Marangos-Gilks.
George Marangos-Gilks is Co-Founder and former CEO of The Tab, a youth news site. George launched The Tab at University of Cambridge as a student in 2009, and it has since grown to 40 Universities in the UK, and following a £2.2million funding round from a range of investors, over 70 Universities in the USA & Canada. It has 5,000,000 unique visitors a month, and now has over 30 employees. A true student entrepreneur, George will be sharing his story with us.
Our finalists are a mix of students from Universities of Cambridge, Bath, Warwick, Surrey, and Newcastle, as well as young professionals. Their ideas range from a number of different industries including AI, FinTech, Mobile Apps, HealthTech and online platforms.
