Compositeworks open new office in Antibes following another record year
Antibes, 7 August 2017 – Compositeworks, a leading shipyard specialising in superyacht and megayacht refits in La Ciotat and La Rochelle, have opened a new office in Antibes. This decision follows the acquisition of the Atlantic Refit Center last September and is a result of continued strong growth across every sector of activity, from emergency repairs & planned maintenance to major superyacht refits involving complex transformations.
With a clear objective of always looking for ways to improve customer experience and bring greater efficiency to the shipyard period, it was decided to bring commercial services closer to clients, many of whom are based in the Antibes & Monaco area.
Notable recent deliveries include a 7 metre transom extension on a 50 metre motor yacht, a full paint and special survey on a 90 metre Oceanco, a full interior refit and exterior remodelling of a 64 metre sailing yacht and the 110 metre Ulysses full hull fairing and refit in La Rochelle. Next year promises to be another succesful year with bookings already in place for 2018 and beyond.
For Rob Papworth, Commercial Director of Compositeworks, “We are very excited to have a commercial base in Antibes where so many of our clients and crew are based, and we look forward to providing them with a local office where they may meet the team at their convenience for face to face discussions. Our quotation experts continue of course to travel to yachts, wherever they may be in the world, providing clients with the most thorough and detailed quotes in the industry but the ability for any of the crew including engineers, interior heads and even managers to have direct access to our team to discuss quotes or works in detail before the vessels arrival can only help the refits run more smoothly and efficiently. The offices are conveniently located on 30 rue Lacan, just behind the port next to Jefferies’ English supermarket and the Blue Lady. We hope to see you there soon!”
