The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost earlier on today 46 points; Geopolitics coupled with the trade warring aspect of tariffs and other measures due, are already creating havoc, even among allies… John Faraclas’ brief midweek recap:
The Capes lost nearly 100 points, to be precise 97 and the BCI now reads 2,090…
The Panamaxes down 39 with the BPI standing at 1,419 points.
The Supras did the …trick with ONE point plus and the BSI now standing at 1,094 points… Hooray hooray!!!
Minus one for the Handies’ BHSI now at 593…
The Wets with mixed feelings; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 743 – up seven and 507 – down four respectively… CAUTION!
The WTI as these lines are written stands at US$ 65.12…. Let’s see the break through downwards at US$ 60 – first step/phase. It will be good for the benefit of all!
