For approximately 11 months, marine works involving removal of temporary platforms and reinstatement of seafront will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (L) and the adjacent shoreline:

Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the northern boundary of the works area at co-ordinates (I) and (J). 3.
The works will be carried out by a flotilla of vessels including flat top barges, derrick lighters and crane barges at various stages. Some tugboats and some work boats will provide assistance.
The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements.
A non-specified channel with a width of about 110 metres is provided for vessels navigating along the Tung Chung buoyed channel to pass through the works area.
A working area of approximately 50 metres will be established around each working vessel. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.
The hours of work will be round-the-clock.
Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

Sunken buoy in channel, traffic suspended

Pilots have suspended ship traffic movement in the Pascagoula Channel after Buoy #32 sunk, causing an obstruction in the channel.
Traffic is expected to remain suspended until situation is stabilized, possibly tomorrow (Wednesday, 22 August).
The Port of Pascagoula Harbormaster or pilot dispatch may be contacted for updates.

Heavy lift operations

Until further notice, dock construction crews will be performing ongoing heavy lift operations at ADM Growmark, MM 117.8 RDB in the Lower Mississipi River (LMR).
A derrick barge will extend out 300 feet from the dock towards the deep water channel. No wake and wide berth is requested.
Contact vessel UTV GEORGE C is standing by on Ch 67 and 74.
