Russia based Industry Association MARINET has initiated the first-ever open discussion of the most sensitive hi-tech maritime issues covering military and civil technologies and innovations. An internet voting (in English) on the Conference topics has been launched by IAA PortNews.

The Marinet Conference will be held within SMM 2018 trade fair in Hamburg, Germany. The conference on the most promising maritime high technologies is organized by the Industry Association MARINET and Media Group PortNews with the support of RVC in the framework of the National Technology Initiative (NTI).
The Marinet Conference opens on September 5, 2018 at 10:00. Venue: Osaka Conference Room, Hall A4, Hamburg Messe und Congress, Messeplatz 1.

Among the topics of the Marinet Conference are technological and regulatory challenges of e-navigation, unmanned shipping and marine robotics. In the framework of the conference Russia will initiate the first-ever open discussion on practical implementation of new technologies in the maritime sphere, assess the demand of potential customers, estimate the regulators’ position and demonstrate the state-of-the-art technologies of Russian origin for the most promising maritime application.
