INCREASE IN MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE DRAFT

Visakhapatnam Port Trust has advised that the permissible draft at West Quay (WQ-1, WQ-2 & WQ-3 berths) has been revised from 13.00m to 13.5m with a tide of 0.5m, with immediate effect.

Increase in maximum permissible draft

The maximum permissible draft at Berth No.VIII and Berth No.IX is increased from the present 14.0m to 14.2m with immediate effect.
14.2m draft vessels shall be handled only during day light hours and utilizing the tide of at least 0.65m and in rising tide.
