Greek Shipping Hall of Fame announces additional support for 2019 Induction Dinner

 February 11, 2019 – The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame is pleased to announce additional support for its Induction Ceremony & Dinner on the evening of Monday 8 April 2019 at Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall. 

Unique in the shipping world, the annual dinner event generates a high level of interest among leading Greek shipping personalities and their key international partners. This year’s event is once again expected to be attended by a capacity 600 guests.

The event celebrates the Greek shipping industry and pays tribute to some of its outstanding historic personalities. It will include the unveiling of two new Inductees, as voted for by the members of the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Academy.

Hellenic Hope, the children’s charity supported by the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame, will receive a portion of the event proceeds.

We are delighted that Navios Group has renewed its support for the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame as the exclusive Dinner Sponsor at this year’s Induction Ceremony & Dinner.

We are also delighted that China Classification Society and HSBC have reconfirmed their support for the event, and to welcome KPMG, Kyvernitis Travel and Segaline Shipbrokers as Standard Sponsors.

Lead Sponsors of the Induction Ceremony & Dinner 2019 are ABS, IRI – The Marshall Islands Registry, and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.

TMS Group will once again host the pre-dinner Welcome Drinks reception for the event.
