CIRM Annual Conference 2019
To be held at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Hotel, Vouliagmeni, Greece 2 – 4 April 2019.
CIRM’s annual conference and AGM is taking place over three days at the Beginning of April. The conference features presentation sessions, seminars, panel discussions, workshops and working group meetings. Hard work during the day is balanced with social activity in the evening!
The CIRM conference is a great opportunity for members to learn about the latest industry developments, network with other companies and stay in touch with the international marine electronics industry.Participants in the annual conference include CIRM members, representatives of international standardisation bodies and industry associations, plus invited guests from external companies and organisations.
This year, given that the conference is in Greece, there will be a large contingent from the Greek shipping industry present as guests, especially at the opening gala dinner hosted by CIRM Board member SRH Marine SAIT. On the second day, halfway through the conference program, dinner is sponsored by member Navarino and then on the last day, after the conference closes the evening group dinner is hosted by another board member Inmarsat.
The conference program is very varied, having sessions on navigation technology, cyber security, maritime connectivity and digitalisation, technological developments and innovation, ship data analytics and a general industry outlook session amongst others.
