Capes lift the BDI@1,122 amid global turmoil…

The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) gained 19 points thanks to the Capes’ upsurge. Geopolitics in turmoil. John Faraclas’ brief recap:

The Capes’ BCI surge of 89 points at 1,739 brought the BDI nearly half way through the BDI as of the end of December 2013 when it stood at 2,24 points.

The Panamaxes’ BPI increased its losses to 21 points and now stand at 1,304…

The fall of the Supras’ BSI continues with nine further points lost and now reads 739…

“Good” news for the Handies’ BHSI clinching two points and now stands at 403…

The Wets on a falling mode; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 634 – minus two and 523 – minus 14 points respectively!

The WTI stood slightly up at US$ 53.48 from US$ 53.25 (yesterday’s closing)… Let’s hope we see same falling further for the wellbeing of Planet Ocean’s masses…

The Geopolitical front with the Trade War increasingly dangerously will create havoc everywhere… Chinea issues a traveling notice for those travelling in the USA following the latest shootings  in Virginia Beach Municipal Centre and elsewhere there…

The Migrants continue to maintain the top importance all over, not just in the Med or between the USA / Mexican border…

The second day of USA’s president Trump in the United Kingdom continues despite the special relationship bonds as many demonstrate their dismay for his attitude on many issues and in particular of his preference of who should be UK’s next PM… Add the fact that he wants Ms. May to remain – that was a good and proper gesture as well as to clinch a deal on trade with the UK… BREXIT stirs up the world, not just the UK and EU…

Now tell us, what do you make on USA’s ban on Cuba: Cruise ships, planes etc…?

Europe still in tatters after the Euro Elections as well as in some countries, like Greece the Municipal results… Let’s see how the 7th of July snap election woks for Greece and Europe…

Turkey still threatening peace in the region…

Iran and the USA must make or break…

Same applies with China for the South China Sea…

Remind you once again the faulty line from Gib to Afghanistan and from the Caucuses to the Horn of Africa…

Let’s see tomorrow how The Greek Shipping Summit evolves at the Evgenidion Foundation in Athens; titled: “The Wind of Change in Global Shipping” promises interesting debates…

That’s all for tonight; remain on guard from actions emanating from Pirates, Terrorists, Criminals and Business Hooligans whatsoever wherever you are on Planet Ocean!
