Remote surveys minimize disruption to operations
Minimizing disruption to operations while ensuring top quality are key goals of DNV GL’s remote surveying offer.
“It’s all about doing things faster and more efficiently, but still doing them well,” says Stener Olav Stenersen, head of services at the DNV GL Remote Operational Centre in Høvik, Norway. With travel time eliminated and waiting times reduced, remote surveys can conclude faster than traditional surveys, and the results can be shared immediately.
Depending on the quality of data submitted to DNV GL, the quality of remote surveys has proven to be as good as physical surveys, and customers are very pleased with the results.
