Capes “did it” again

John Faraclas

Capes “did it” again – in a positive way though but still we fear of minor volatility and uncertainty amid a Geopolitical perplexed mayhem…

The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) gained eight points earlier on today and now stands at 2,116 “thanks” to the volatile Capes. Geopolitics ultra-messy… John Faraclas’ brief recap:

The Capes gained 79 points and the BCI now reads 3,982… Don’t count though your eggs before they are hatched… Remember our “…but” yesterday…

The Panamaxes’ losses more or less as per yesterday’s fall; the BPI lost 39 points and now reads 1,939…

The Supras’ BSI was down four points at 1,294…

The Handies’ BHSI  down two at 690…

The Wets were both on the plus; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI  (Cleans) gained 16 points – now at 849 and two – 460 respectively…

The WTI was down US$ 1.35 since yesterday and now reads US$ 57.29! Caution…

Geopolitics put Planet Ocean in flames… The UN “brought” up some strange issues with president Trump cancelling meetings with World leaders following an “application” by the Democrats for impeachment! Very serious allegations… Will shall see… In the UK PM Boris Johnson decision and actionsa  to close down the Parliament is null and void following decision from the High Court!!! Ultra CAUTION should be observed… Respect to the Parliament of all Parliaments please!! BREXIT must be delivered in an oderly, democratic and pragmatic way; end of the story!

All other issues remain the same with the MIGRANTS still on top and deteriorating further… Be ready and prepared for despicable developments!

On another tone and note we had the full results and positions of governors at Greece’s Propeller Club Port of Piraeus:

day’s report. The other members of the Executive Committee elected are: Costas Kontes (First Vice President), Dimitris Patrikios (Second Vice President), Danae Bezantakou (Secretary-General) and Dimitri Vassilacos (Treasurer). The remaining Governors forming our new Board are: Lambros Chahalis, Dimitris Mattheou, Michalis Dalacouras, John Belousis, Dimitris Dimitriadis, Christos Timagenis, Nikos D. Marmatsouris, Irene Notias, Akis Tsirigakis, Katerina Stathopoulou and George Kallianis.

Good to see three internationally acclaimed women enter as governors being also the pride of WISTA-Hellas! It was about time!

Last week’s elections saw an unprecedented turnout of members to elect a new Board of Governors. Congratulations to all candidates for their commitment and pride that all shown in the Club.  Congrats to all the retiring Governors for their tireless commitment to the goals of the Club, especially its Emeritus President George Xiradakis for all he offered to the Club. We look forward to many more achievements and success!

That’s all for now, have a nice evening and remain on guard from actions emanating by Pirates, Terrorists, Criminals and Business Hooligans whatsoever wherever you are on Planet Ocean!
