The BDI struggles to survive; Geopolitics might bring in a wider war than the one expected…
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) managed to clinch three points and now stands at 1,770. Geopolitics as said in the title of today’s recap might produce a wider war particularly in the region of East Med – East of Cape Passero… John Faraclas’ brief recap:
The Capes’ BCI was down 18 points and now stand at 3,003 very close of losing this valuable threshold…
The Panamaxes’ BPI was up 17 points and now reads 1,748…
The Supras’ and Handies’ BSI and BHSI were down three points each and now read 1,196 and 667 respectively…
All in all a mixed feelings dry market and we can point out that same should had a negative/ downwards figure.. Check the arithmetics and you will see what we mean…
The Wets on the up; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,258 – up 67 and 552 – up eight points resepctively.
The WTI was a 23:00 BST at US$ 52.75… CAUTION!
The Geopolitics, as things develop will definitely produce a wider war in the East of Cape Passero leading to a general conflagration.
The MIGRANTS issue going from worse to worse and the politicians particularly in Europe keep a blind eye with those coming from the Anatolian coast of Turkey… One day I can assure you many will seat in the dock… for their on purpose apathy as things develop… Many also will lose their lives… wonder who has the guts to sort out this issue, a major epidemic with incalculable repercussions for all involved!
Turkey continues to stir up Peace in the region in a multiple of ways…. CAUTION as with the forthcoming Turkish intrusion in Syria and why not in Iraq hunting Kurds things can get sour for many! Wonder what will be the White House counter; will president Trump leav the Turks to massacre the Kurds particulalry in Syria?
BREXIT’s bill might run into trillions of Dollars; wonder though who will pay the damages given that no agreement, any agreement is in the horizon. Non of the sides is ready and look likely whatever the end result that we are heading for a disaster as personal egos and old animocities unfortunately come first!
