Monte Carlo Comedy Film Festival 2020
October 5 – 10 at the Grimaldi Forum

The 17th edition of the Monte Carlo Film Festival de la Comedie will take place from October 5 to October 10 at the ‘Monaco Safe’ labelled Grimaldi Forum. The festival will of course be slightly different this year, but the festival’s creator and director, Ezio Greggio promises a special edition.

Trio Goldberg, an OPMC concert
Tuesday October 6, from 18:30 at the Auditorium Rainier III

This chamber music concert is an opportunity to meet the musicians of the orchestra in a more intimate setting. The composer for the evening is Ludwig Van Beethoven, the current ‘composer’ of the OPMC.

‘L’Enfance de Beethoven’, an OPMC production
Wednesday October 7, from 15:00 at the Auditorium Rainier III

Little is known of Beethoven’s childhood, a painful existence with his violent father. Join the OPMC from 15:00 at the Auditorium Rainier III to discover the story of the composer and his inspired early works.

Monaco Book Fair 2020
Saturday October 10, from 09:30 until 18:30
The Monaco Book Fair returns for the 9th edition and will take place in the Riva Tunnel (by the Monaco Boat Service). The event promises to be a celebration of French literature and will showcase various authors.

The event will run from 09:30 until 18:30 and admittance is free. Click here to find out more.

‘Âme et Sentiment Russes’, an OPMC concert
Sunday October 11, from 18:00 at the Auditorium Rainier III
The third OPMC event of the week focusses on the Russian masters Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Cristian Măcelaru will conduct the concert which also features Simon Trpčeski on piano. The concert will be held at the Auditorium Rainier III from 18:00.
