Shipping lawyer Anna Kaparaki hails her new academic achievements
“Today marks another significant day in my professional career,” writes Anna Kaparaki. “I am pleased to share with you the great news that I have been awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCert) by Liverpool John Moores University.“
“It has been a journey like no other and a herculean task for me to complete my studies whilst working as a solicitor and lecturer. I cannot feel prouder that I have now been awarded with the Fellowship of Advance Higher Education (FHEA), as well as with the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) Teaching, Learning and Assessment Certificate.”
“My desire is that all these qualifications I have gained will be of benefit to my students, who are indeed at the centre of my endeavours. I am most grateful to my tutors at Liverpool John Moores: Professor Clare Milsom, Professor Julie Sheldon, Dr Phil Carey as well as Ms Rachel Boulter for their invaluable input and commendable support during my studies. I extend my thanks to my colleague and line manager Dr Robyn Pyne, my colleague and classmate Dr Sean Loughney, my colleague Dr Chia-Hsun Chang and my Mentor at the university Dr Christos Kontovas, who have unconditionally supported my efforts.
