Online Guest Lecture: Strategies for a future resilient Belgian air transport sector – 10 December 2021
The air transport sector is an indispensable yet vulnerable industry. This has been once more demonstrated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has thrown the aviation sector into its deepest crisis since its inception. A crisis has significant threats but also creates many opportunities. Where do Belgium’s major airlines currently stand in the fight against COVID-19? How can airlines better weapon themselves to withstand future market disruptions? How have the major players revisited their business models? What steps should be taken to make the Belgian air transport sector more resilient?
Prof. dr. Wouter Dewulf and dr. Sven Buyle invited Mr. Niky Terzakis (CEO, Air Belgium) and Mr. Günther Hofman (Managing Director, TUIfly) to their aula for an exciting and interactive Online Guest Lecture on 10 December 2021 between 10:30 and 12:00. Register and join the discussion.
