Monday August 7, 2023France’s Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin has come to the defence of two women who were told to cover up their torsos by two Gendarmes, one male one female, on a beach near Perpignan. The forces of law and order had been alerted by the parents of two children who were allegedly shocked by the naked breasts. “Liberty is a precious thing,” said the Minister.    
In Limoges, two young men on a motorbike died after they ran a red light and hit a car driven by a father accompanied by his three children. The deceased had refused to stop at a police checkpoint.
