

Leaping into the Future: Challenges and Consequences in Maritime Operations
NAMEPA has expanded its lineup of speakers for its annual marine operations event in Houston! Captain Keith Donohue Commander, Sector Houston Galveston United States Coast Guard, and Darwin Telemaque, CEO of Antigua Port Authority will join the distinguished list of speakers for this event.
Captain Keith Donohue will join the Regulatory Challenges and Consequences panel with Keith LeTourneau, Partner at Blank Rome; Captain Matt Glass, Second Officer Houston Pilots; and Alejandro Trillo, CEO, Maritime Procurement Services. This panel will dissect the new regulations and regulatory challenges that are being faced by mariners and industry leaders, as well as the consequences for not abiding by these regulations.
Darwin Telemaque will join our Future Fuels Challenges and Consequences – Choices, Supply, and More with Onur Semiz, Principal Engineer, ABS Technology; and Vineet Plaha, Sr. Manager Strategy & Business Performance at Chevron. This panel will analyze choices for fuel, supply and what factors are considered in future fuels. Additionally, the Antigua Port Authority has announced their new green energy plan for their port and what challenges are being faced.
