April 16, 2024. Specialist Handysize and Supramax dry bulk carrier operator Sagitta Marine has appointed Nina Bjerregard as Senior Trader to lead its new Oslo office.
Nina brings more than a decade of experience in the dry bulk market, with a focus on Supramax and Handysize markets in South America, West Africa and the Mediterranean.
After studying shipping in Southampton and London, Nina worked for major vessel operators in Oslo and Copenhagen and her extensive market experience will undoubtedly enable Sagitta to build a stronger network.
A specialist in bulk cargo and vessel trading, Nina will help to grow Sagitta’s coverage in new markets and increase collaboration opportunities for Sagitta and our clients.
“We take a balanced view of the market and there are reasons to feel positive about the smaller bulk carrier sector this year,” says Nina. “Geopolitics is definitely playing a role but so is stronger is demand and we expect that balances could tighten to reflect that.”
