IMDG Code Training (Amdt. 41-22) – Live Virtual Classroom

DNV’s Maritime Academy Hellas is offering on 20 to 23 January 2025, a live virtual classroom training on the IMDG Code and the new Amendments.

Learning Objectives

• Create awareness related to hazards involved in the carriage and transportation of dangerous goods.
• Meet the training requirements of Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code and other standards.
• Understand the structure of IMDG code and appreciate purpose and need for it.

• Appreciate the need for proper packing, marking, labeling, placarding and documentation of Dangerous Goods of different Classes.
• Know how to refer to the Code when dealing with the handling, carriage, stowage and segregation of various classes of dangerous goods incl. security provisions.
• Learn correct responses for different types of incidents involving Dangerous Goods.
• Safe transport of Dangerous Cargoes and activities in port areas.
• Training Requirements from different standards.
