Two state-of-the-art, methanol dual-fuel container feeder vessels were delivered early in 2025 to Norwegian owner MPCC.
Now operating under charter to NCL, the two 1300-TEU sister vessels were built by Sanfu Shipbuilding in China to DNV class. They incorporate an impressive list of features making them highly energy-efficient and manoeuvrable while giving them maximum cargo flexibility. Meeting 2050 emission standards today, these vessels are intended by both, their owner and charterer to establish a ‘green corridor’ for container shipping across the North Sea.
