Monaco Audiovisual launches its new season on October 3 at the Grimaldi Forum with a screening of Ettore Scola’s 1977 masterpiece A Special Day. Starring Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, the film portrays an unlikely encounter between a housewife and a dissident radio journalist in Rome during Hitler’s 1938 visit to Mussolini. This restored screening offers audiences a rare chance to experience the film’s poignant exploration of private lives overshadowed by fascism on the big screen.
