A highly constructive meeting took place between the Members of the Hellenic Committee of Lloyd’s Brokers Associates in Greece and Ms. Diana Santin, Regional Manager MEDI – Country Manager Italy, Lloyd’s Europe, together with Ms. Claartje Sweere, Senior Manager Corporate & Legal from Lloyd’s headquarters in Brussels, during their recent visit to Greece.
The purpose of the visit was to provide updates on the adjustments Lloyd’s is planning to implement in its operating model in the Greek market, as well as to communicate its intention to conduct business exclusively under the framework of Freedom of Services (FOS)
During the discussion, which was held in a spirit of mutual understanding and transparency, the Members of the HCLBA had the opportunity to receive first -hand information from Ms. Claartje Sweere regarding the upcoming changes and their implications for brokerage activities. They also shared their views, observations and specific needs, and proposals, requesting that these be duly considered in the process of shaping the next phase of cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a mutual reaffirmation of the shared interest in continuing the long-standing and successful cooperation.
