A large-scale recycling initiative is giving a second life to more than 2,700 digital devices previously used by students in Monaco’s public schools. In collaboration with the Green Monaco association, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports and the Digital Management Office are refurbishing and redistributing the equipment to local and African educational organisations. The project not only promotes education and solidarity but also contributes to environmental sustainability, saving an estimated 150 tonnes of greenhouse gases — equivalent to nearly 500 round trips between Monaco and Paris.
