Hundreds of rose bushes are being carefully prepared at Monaco’s nursery ahead of the next International Rose Competition, with gardeners overseeing every stage from pruning to repotting. Each plant is closely monitored in the greenhouse for several months, with only the strongest and most harmonious specimens selected to compete. Attention to detail, disease prevention and patience will be key before the roses are finally planted in open ground for judging in May.
