New report sets out competitive opportunities of mastering maritime data
 
Shipping companies will increase their competitiveness through the better collection, structuring and use of operational data in an increasingly regulated and digital operating environment, according to new research from LR and OneOcean.

The report argues that while the maritime sector is generating more operational information than ever before, much of it remains fragmented, poorly structured or underused. This leads to inadequate data quality levels and a lack of data standardisation, which has a large impact on maritime digital transformation

LR has certified XOCEAN’s X-30 Remotely Operated Uncrewed Vessel (ROUV) to the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s Workboat Code Edition 3 (WBC3), including the Annex 2 requirements for ROUVs.
