We will hold our 2026 Marine Money Greek Ship Finance Forum on Thursday 15th October 2026 at Asteria Glyfada (DOMUS) and we invite you to save this date in your calendar and we will regularly update on agenda topics and speakers as we move towards the event date.
We are experiencing yet again a tumultuous year and shipping remains in the spotlight. The ongoing war in the Middle East is causing huge disruption to vessels in and out of the SOH and this is affecting tanker rates and oil prices. LNG supply has been severely curtailed and long-term damage to production facilities leaves the future supply uncertain. Asian countries in particular, but also Europe, are concerned about fuel and jet fuel shortages in the coming months. The longer the dispute goes on, the more it will also affect fertilizers and other dry cargos. The world once more is experiencing a black swan event and at this moment there is no obvious solution. By October 15th we may have a different story to tell.
In the rest of the world shipping continues to perform positively with rates above long-term averages, owners continue to order newbuilds, liquidity remains in abundance, and Greek shipping remains buoyed and buoyant.
Our conference in Athens in October will be the ideal opportunity to discuss shipping, finance and investment with experts from Greece and around the world. We will invite some of the largest shipping personalities as well as financiers of shipping from New York, Europe and Asia. Diverse views from diverse perspectives always leads to fruitful interaction.
Our Marine Money Greek 2026 Forum will be the foremost ship finance conference in Greece and will attract over 350 delegates from Greece and the major shipping and finance centers of the world. More about the event is at
