We have been following Kira’s creative journey for many years and we had the opportunity to visit Future Icons Selects during London Craft Week and Clerkenwell Design Week.
Kira’s latest glass sculptures, FLUX series, focuses on movement, colour and expectation. When viewing the work the layers of glass and colour bring to mind oceanic scenes, from ships to waves to sea kelp.
Future Icons Selects has been curated by Louisa Pacifico, founder of the bespoke consultancy Future Icons and Future Icons Selects. The show brings together artisans from multiple disciplines including textiles, ceramics, glass, furniture, jewellery, metalwork, paper, mixed media, and surface design.
