Monaco’s final representative at Roland-Garros has bowed out after Hugo Nys and French partner Édouard Roger-Vasselin were defeated 6-3, 6-4 by top seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the men’s doubles quarter-finals. Nys praised the world number one pairing, describing them as deserving champions who produced an excellent performance despite a competitive display from the Monegasque-French duo. Although disappointed to miss out on a semi-final place, Nys reflected positively on reaching the last eight of a Grand Slam, a milestone achieved by only a select group of players.
