Despite disappointment for local fans hoping to see Charles Leclerc triumph on home soil, Monaco celebrated long into the night following the conclusion of the 2026 Formula 1 Grand Prix, won by Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli. As the circuit began to be dismantled and sections of the track reopened to the public, thousands of visitors and residents filled the streets to enjoy the festive atmosphere, live music and celebrations that traditionally mark the end of race weekend. The scenes underlined the unique appeal of the Monaco Grand Prix, where passion for Formula 1 continues long after the chequered flag has fallen.
