TERMINAL VISITS ANNOUNCED
ABTO is delighted to have been invited to visit three bulk terminals in the Outer Port of A Coruña
THREE BULK TERMINALS all adjacent to each other in the outer harbour of Punta Langosteira, offer delegates to Bulk Terminals A Coruña the perfect opportunity to observe their state-of-the-art operations in action.
GALIGRAIN’S AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS terminal specialises in cereals and meals. This terminal is equipped with a unique underground ventilation and cooling system to prevent raw materials from reaching high temperatures, which enables Galigrain – part of GrupoNogar – to offer top-quality care for the goods and to take any measures needed to preserve them.
PÉREZ TORRES MARÍTIMA (PTM) is part of Ership Grupo, one of the leading companies in integrated logistics solutions. PTM handles a broad dry bulk portfolio. In their operations they employ a range of equipment including cranes, shovels and elevators, to facilitate handling the range of bulk solid products they deal with.
TERMINALES MARÍTIMOS DE GALICIA (TGMA) has been present in Galicia since 1995 and was the first company to operate in Punta Langosteira, setting up equipment and installations there in 2015. TGMA, part of Erhardt Logistics, is the port’s most diversified independent dry bulk terminal operator handling grain and agriproducts, as well as other bulk solid cargoes.
Representives from all three terminals will be presenting and joining panels to discuss subjects ranging from the operational, such as logistics and the application of digital technologies, to the environmental with their participation in the Port Authority’s ‘Project A Coruña Green Port’.
A FULL PROGRAMME at A Coruña will offer terminals practical solutions to the challenges they face, with sessions covering:
- Markets
- Operations and opportunities
